Easter poem for kids

Here is a bunny
With ears so funny
And this is his/her hole in the ground
When a noise she hears
She pricks up her ears
And jumps in her hole in the ground

Eggs come in many sizes
Eggs hold some big surprises
Speckled, brown, white, or blue
Eggs hold babies that are new
Chicks from eggs are fluffy yellow
Chicks from eggs are funny fellows!

Bunnies are brown
Bunnies are white
Bunnies are always
An Easter delight.

Bunnies are cuddly
The large and the small.
But I like chocolate ones
The best of them all.

I saw a little bunny
Going hop, hop, hop.
I said, "Please, Mr. Bunny,
Won't you stop, stop, stop."

He flapped his big, long ears
And had no word to say,
And before I could get near him
He had hop, hop, hopped away!

Hot cross buns!
Hot cross buns!
One a penny, two a penny,
Hot cross buns!

If your daughters do not like them
Give them to your sons;
But if you haven't any of these little pretty elves
You cannot do better than eat them yourselves.
