Easter poem

Five Baby Bunnies

Five baby bunnies hopping out to play,
Hopping in the forest on happy Easter Day.

The first baby bunny carried his new cane,
He twirled as he came hopping down the lane.

The second baby bunny came to the river's brink.
Tasted the cool water and took a long, long drink.

The third baby bunny tied her bonnet so new,
Under her chin, a bow of pink, white, and blue.

The fourth baby bunny skipped down the shady lane.
He opened his umbrella just in case of rain.

Chocolate Rabbit

I got a chocolate rabbit
For an Easter treat,
A great big chocolate rabbit,
Good enough to eat.
So I ate his ears on Sunday,
His nose I finished Monday,
Tuesday I nibbled on his feet.
I ate his tail on Wednesday,
Thursday I kept on,
By Friday he was going,
Saturday he was gone.
Oh, I loved that chocolate rabbit,
From the moment that he came,
And if I get another one,
I'll love him just the same.
